Julie Lowell is the Director of Public Assets. Julie joined the Public Assets team in 2018, working on policies that improve the economic well-being of everyone in Vermont, informed by community conversations and data analysis. She is excited to be working on systems-level solutions after working for a decade with families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence survivors, and seeing the financial struggles they face in the current system.
Time magazine calls Paul Graves the snowboarding pioneer and often the founding father of snowboarding. He is a snowboarding champion, a leader in snow sports in the country, and in 2016, he was inducted into the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum's Hall of Fame. Paul still coaches snowboarding.
Mary Kathleen Mehuron is an author, educator, musician, photographer, and advocate for the history of the Mad River Valley. She is best known for her captivating novels, most recently Down on the South Beach Drag, published by Simon & Schuster. Mehuron's Store in Waitsfield is one of Vermont's most iconic grocery stores.

Tara is an American ski jumper. Born and raised in Vermont, she has competed at the World Cup level since the 2014/2015 season. She won the 2018/2019 Continental Cup season with ten consecutive wins in eleven competitions. In December, 2020, Tara won the first-ever Nordic combined Women's World Cup competition. Tara received the Fresh Tracks Award from the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Christine Hallquist is a Vermont icon. She was the first transgender candidate for governor in the country, running here in Vermont, and received over 40% of the vote. She was the CEO of Vermont Electric Co-Op during her transition from Dave to Christine. Her story is remarkable and fascinating.
